ALAN COULTER - BROKER
I was born in Dublin, Ireland and emigrated to Canada in 1987.
My background was in management in the automotive industry.
Upon my arrival in Canada I began a new career in real estate.
Thirty-two years later, I have helped hundreds of buyers
and sellers get what they want by following my simple philosophy…do
a thorough, professional job and “sales” will look after themselves.
My partner Karen, and I live in the Upper Beach area and
have two grown sons and 15 year old twins.
ALAN'S APPROACH
I don't see myself as a "sales person" but rather a consultant. I strongly believe in giving my clients comprehensive information, professional advice, and then letting them make unpressured decisions. This approach has resulted in hundreds of very satisfied clients, and practically all my business is repeat and referral.
You won't see my name on billboards or bus benches. I don't invest money in marketing myself to get new business. Rather, I concentrate
on my clients and strive to provide top quality service in conjunction with innovative marketing. In turn they are happy to refer me to friends and family.
• I am a Broker, a designation indicating that I have completed more in-depth studies in mortgage financing, law, appraisal and property management than the typical sales representative. I coached and trained over 80 salespeople for one of the top companies in Toronto.
My stated goal was to have the most knowledgeable, ethical and professional salespeople in the industry.
• I believe in ongoing education and attend many seminars and courses every year to stay on the cutting edge of innovative marketing and technology.
• I am a past Panel Member of the Toronto Real Estate Board's Professional Standards Committee which oversees the business practices and ethical behaviour of the board members.
• I am the winner of numerous industry awards for excellence and performance.
